ADMISSION GUIDELINES
In super session of all guidelines that have been issued governing admissions in Kendriya Vidyalayas, the following guidelines are issued to regulate admissions in the Vidyalayas with effect from the academic session 2007-08 2. CITIZEN CHARTER
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. The Headquarters of KVS is located at 18 Institutional Area, Shaheed Jeet Singh Marg, New Delhi-110602 [Phone No.011-26858570(Board), Fax-011-26514179, e-mail kvssao@nic.in]. The KVS administers its schemes through 18 Regional Offices; and 979 Kendriya Vidyalayas including 03 abroad. Each Kendriya Vidyalaya has its Vidyalaya Management Committee headed by a senior officer from Defence / Civil Services or an educationist. All the Kendriya Vidyalayas are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. Policies for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan are framed through its Board of Governors headed by the Hon?ble Minister, Human Resource Development......

TRANSFER POLICY
All employees of the KVS are liable to be transferred and posted anywhere in India, at any time, and for any period, as requirements of public service and of the Sangathan may dictate. Transfers and postings are a right of the Sangathan which it would endeavour to exercise in the best interest of the students, with due regard to the principles of equity and transparency vis-a-vis its employees.......
