International Women’s day (19.2.09):
On the occasion of International Women’s day, KVS organized a cluster level debate competition on the topic –“Ind= ian women are capable of leading the society in the right direction”.
= In Hindi debate Virat (VI A) got IIIrd P= rize for speaking against the motion and Tanu (VII C= ) got IInd prize for speaking for the motion.
= In English debate Vaishnavi (VIII A) got= IIIrd prize for speaking against the motion.
Celebration of
Under the guidance of the scout master Mr. B.P. Singh =
and
the Guide captain, Mrs. Madhuri Bhardwaj,
the vidyalaya celebrated Baden Powell’s Birth Anniversary. A brief report
on Baden Powell’s life was read by Utkarsh of
VI B. A group song was sung in the school assembly.
Science Day (27.2.09):
Our school celebrated Science Day on 27.2.09. Students
from
class VI to VIII took out a march showing banners and shouting slogans again
use of polybags and plastic to keep the earth free from pollution.
Spoken English Programme
Under this programme, story telling, extempore, short skit, poem recitation and quiz were conducted in morning assembly. Vaishnavi of class VIII A, who got the IIIrd prize in debate on occasion of women’s day celebration, presented the speech for the school students in the morning assembly.
