Activities for the month of December, 2008

 

1.      06/12/08:

 

      Parent teacher’s meeting was held on dec.6th. A workshop on “ Behavioural Problems” was conducted   by NIE for classes VI, VII, VIII.

 

2.       Annual Sports Day on 12.12.08:

 

Vidyalaya celebrated its Annual Sports Day with great pomp and show. Children participated in many races like caterpillar race, relay race, and hurdle race for boys.

 

3.       K V S Foundation Day on 15.12.08:

    

K.V.S. Foundation Day, students sang ‘Vidyalaya geet’. Oath was taken by  

            everyone in honour of K.V. Sangathan.

 

4.       16/12/08:

   

 A Visit to science centre class VIII A, B & C visited the science centre near Pragati Maidan and got remarkable informations about concepts of science.

 

5.       17/12/08:

 

A visit to Eco Exhibition held at Pragati Maidan. Children of class V and VI were taken to see the exhibition, where exhibits were made up of eco friendly materials.

 

6.       18/12/08:

 

Teachers & students participated in Signature Campaign on “Fight Against Terrorism”

 

7.       20/12/08:

 

210 Primary students visited K V NO. 3 Delhi Cantt. To see Science Exhibits of Science Exhibition on cluster level.

  

 

Work Shop for teachers by NIE

 

NIE Consultant, Mrs. Isha Sehgal on Dec 22, 2008, conducted a workshop for Teachers. The topic of the workshop was "Behavioral problems of students". All the staff members attended the workshop. It was a very educative workshop and applicable in classroom teaching.
